Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i presents two concerts annually. These concerts are free and open to the public, and are held at the Windward Mall in Kane‘ohe. These concerts feature the keiki (youth) and makua (adult) students of the school demonstrating their skills on their respective instruments, collectively and individually. The students sing and play in an hourlong presentation of Hawaiian music. Each concert is based on a music theme that is appropriate to Hawai‘i.
The Spring Concert is held in June.
The Winter Concert is held in early December.
Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i students also appear at other musical events throughout the year. NextGen steel guitarists and musicians participate in all HIMELE-produced steel guitar festivals throughout the state. School musicians have previously performed at the Royal Hawaiian Center, Pearlridge Center, the Hawai‘i State Art Museum, The Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archive, and other venues. The Gallery contains archival photos of past Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i performances.
