Reign Lyu

9-year old Reign's musical interests come from his family. Members of his family dance the hula, and his dad plays the ‘ukulele. He developed an interest in the Hawaiian steel guitar when his aunt (Makamae Lyu-Napoleon) began taking lessons from Alan Akaka.

Reign is now Ke Kula Mele's youngest steel guitar student and will make his performance debut at the 2022 Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival Keiki Kine at Kāhala Mall on Saturday, August 27.

In his spare time Reign likes to spend time with his family and on his iPad.
